Zonnie is survived by her Husband of 55 years, Peter Lewis LeCompte Sr. “Lew”;  children, Peter Lewis LeCompte, Jr. (Kimberly Gail), Zonia Antoinette Marakos “Ann”, Anthony Conley Purdy LeCompte (Rebecca); sister, Betty Yarbrough;  grandchildren, William Lewis Alexander Marakos, Zonnie Isabella Marie Marakos “Bella”, John Osborn Lewis LeCompte; and dear friend, Rosie Elliott. Zonnie and her husband were married at the Williamsburg United Methodist Church on College Corner. She was a longtime member of the church, sang in the choir, and taught Sunday school. Zonnie loved her Grandchildren more than anything, and enjoyed spending time with her family.The family will receive friends on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 12:30pm-1:30pm at Williamsburg United Methodist Church, 500 Jamestown Rd. Williamsburg, VA 23185; where a funeral service will follow at 1:30pm. Interment will follow in Williamsburg Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to, Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio St. Suite 500 Chicago, IL 60611. Online condolences may be shared at bucktroutfuneralhome.net
