    Emmett Harmon says:
I had the privilege of working with Willie during his years with the James City County Police Department. He was a kind and caring person and an excellent officer. He was one of the best “Community Police Officers” the department ever had, and was known and respected throughout the County, especially in the Grove area. People loved and trusted him and many crimes were solved because of the relationships he built with people. Rest In Peace, Willie. I’m proud to have called you a brother officer. -Emmett Harmon Chief of Police (Retired) James City County

So long Willie! It was great knowing you all these years. As a police officer, you knew everyone in James City County and you knew how to talk to people and were able to settle so many situations without someone going to jail. You will be missed. My regards to Linda.
