Williamsburg – William Rzasa, 84 passed away on Wednesday July 30 2014.Mr. Rzasa was a decorated Army Veteran and served in the Korean War. He received the National Defense service Medal, Korean service Medal with 1 Bronze service star, United Nations Service Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal. He was a member of St. Hedwig Catholic Church in Chester Pennsylvania, as well as Szymanski-Rywacki American Legion post 546. Mr. Rzasa enjoyed bird watching, the Dallas Cowboys, and Duke Basketball.
Preceding him in death was his wife Teresa (Zultowski) Rzasa. Survivors include his dear friend Diane Kaighn his sons, William, Jr. (Cate) Hinsdale IL, Paul (Melissa) Mechanicsville, VA., daughter Joan Rich (Edward) Oxford, PA, six grandchildren, Angie, Edward, AJ, Cameron, Zachary, Aubrey, and Damian. Two great grandchildren Sophie and Joseph, his brother Edward Rzasa and, sister Irene Alkins.
A Mass will be held at St Hedwig Catholic Church in Chester, PA. Burial at Immaculate Heart Cemetery.
