Virginia Schmitz, 83, passed away in her home the morning of April 10.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Schmitz.

A beloved sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she is survived by her sister, Marguerite Sturtz; son, Bill Schmitz and daughter-in-law Kristen; daughters Susan Duffey and Carolyn Reichart and sons-in-law Jerry and Chris; grandchildren, William and Margaret Schmitz, Ashley and Michael Duffey, and his wife, Charyl, and Benjamin Reichart; and great-grandson, Oliver Duffey.

Ginny was an avid lover of music and reading, and she was happiest tending to her garden and watching birds.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Olaf Catholic Church on Friday, April 13th, 2018 at 12pm. Please visit bucktroutfuneralhome.net to post condolences.
