Vincenza ”Vinnie” Letizia Hamrah,68,born in Italy and previously from Spotswood,NJ,passed away on July 18, 2018 in Toano,Virginia.

She was predeceased by her loving husband,Robert; mother,Guiseppa Augello; father, Giacomo Augello; brother,Giuseppe“Pino”Augello who passed as a child;

She is survived by her children,Laurie Brain (Eric) of Toano,VA, Kerry Cook (Mike) of Granger,Indiana and Holly Diglio (Christopher) of Bridgewater,NJ.Grandchildren,Sean Brain,Danielle Razzano,Cade Brain,Isabella Cook,Michael Cook III and Josephina Diglio; and sisters, Maria Giacalone of Queens,NY and Anna Kunda of Spotswood,NJ.

Vinnie was an amazing mother,that enjoyed nothing more than taking care of her family.She was a housewife but more importantly a mother.She enjoyed shopping, going on annual cruises with her late husband,being on the water and being around the ones she loved.She was a caring person that made sure everyone was always cared for.She will be missed tremendously.

A service for Vinnie will be held on Saturday,July 21, 2018 at 10AM at St.Olaf Catholic Church with burial to follow at Williamsburg Memorial Park.Donations may be made in her memory to The Hope Foundation which will benefit Hospice Partners of Virginia.The address is, 3021 Lorna Rd. Ste #200, Birmingham, AL 35214.Bucktrout Funeral Home is assisting the family.

    So sorry for your Loss. I have known Vinnie from Childhood. She was always a wonderful ,caring person.We kind of drifted away for some years and then we reconnected through FB. I came to visit a few years ago and it was like we never were apart.She is such a warm a lovely person. I will miss her very much.

    I met Vinnie shortly after she arrived in America and were close childhood and teen friends. We lost track of each other once we both married, until she found me on Facebook a few years ago. She was a wonderful person, and I am so glad we reconnected. Please accept my condolences.
