Terry W. Deeck, 56, passed away on December 4, 2021, after a short battle with cancer. He joins his father Carl Deeck at home with the Lord. His surviving family includes Melissa Deeck, daughter, Olivia Deeck, mother, Jacqueline Deeck, brother, Scott Deeck (Jerry), brother, Philip (Dianna), sister-in-law, Shannon Hassan (Keith) and in-laws, Mary Ann and Bob Fagley. He was a loving uncle to his nephews, Zachary and Graydon Hassan. Terry was born in Baltimore and grew up in Cape St. Claire, Maryland. He graduated from Broadneck Senior High School in 1984. In 2004, he moved to Williamsburg where he enjoyed working as an estimator and exploring Colonial Williamsburg, as he had a passion for history.
Terry was an exceptionally caring and kind person who stop on a dime to give his hand to help. He was a devoted father to Olivia, who was his greatest joy in life. They loved to go on adventures together and especially loved to ride their bikes in Colonial Williamsburg. They loved going to Busch Gardens, arcades, playing games together at home and spending time with their beloved cat, Sheldon. He enjoyed traveling to car shows, and especially loved the beach.
Terry was an avid collector of Hot Wheels cars and enjoyed setting up elaborate Hot Wheel tracks with his daughter and nephews. There was not an old car he didn’t know all the specs on. Reading, watching history shows and going to car shows were some of his favorite past times.
Service will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021, 11:30 a.m., at Cedar Grove Memorial Gardens, Williamsburg, VA.
