Ted Pino, 71, passed away in Williamsburg, VA on Friday, September 17, 2021. He was born in New Jersey on October 11, 1949 to August Pino, Jr. and Ida (Milazzo) Pino.

Ted Graduated Highland Park High School (HPHS) in 1967. He was the first undefeated dual meet wrestler in only the second year of the HPHS varsity wrestling program as well as a HPHS varsity baseball second baseman with honors. He also loved tennis and golf.

After graduating high school, he went on to study at the Newark Academy of Fine Arts in Newark, NJ. He then started his own advertising company, “Ted Pino Advertising and Design”.

He coached the South Brunswick Township Basketball team his son played in for two years and he also played on the South Brunswick Men’s Softball league for many years.

Ted was a devout Christian. He loved to read and phrase God’s word with others and ran many bible-based men’s support groups at church or in his home both here in Williamsburg and in his hometown in NJ. He was also an elder at the First Christian Assembly in Plainfield, NJ.

Ted moved with his wife to Williamsburg in 2014 and immediately began putting down roots. He had a heart for the underdog and became involved in the Hope Family Village project by volunteering his time and talents toward the mission.

Ted is preceded in death by his father, August Pino, Jr. He survived by his mother, Ida Pino; wife, Vicki Pino; son, Michael Ted Pino of Williamsburg, VA; grandsons, Shane, Joseph and Dominick; twin brother, Alfred Pino of Ortley Beach, NJ; sister, Linda La Scola of Hardwick, MA; aunt, Elanor Milazzo of Interlaken, NJ and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Bucktrout Funeral Home at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to P.O. Box 982 Williamsburg, VA 23187.
