Shea Catherine Garlock

Shea Catherine Garlock, 16, passed away unexpectedly November 19, 2012. She was the daughter of Bryan Garlock and Patricia Piedmont Garlock. She was predeceased by a grandfather, Joseph Donlan ìGagaî Piedmont.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by, on her fatherís side, her step-mother Tammy Garlock; siblings, Vincent, Kat and Megan; grandparents, Liz ìNeeNeeî and Dennis Dye; step-grandmother, Diane Berkheimer; aunt, Dana Frye and husband Bobby and uncle, Steve Dorsey and wife, Amy and cousins A.J., Haley, Shane, Dakota and Casey.

On her motherís side, she is survived by her grandmother, Dorathy B. Piedmont; aunts, Anne Piedmont, Elisabeth Piedmont-Marton and husband, Bruce, Susan Piedmont Palladino and husband, Douglas, and Dorathy Winkler and husband, Jeff; an uncle, John Piedmont and cousins, Claire, Keegan and Garrett.

She was a junior at Jamestown High School where she was a member of the choir. She also was active in the Stonehouse Presbyterian Church Youth Group and spent several years as a Girl Scout. She was known for her beautiful voice, loved music and drama and will be deeply missed by her friends and family.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 24 at 2 p.m. at Stonehouse Presbyterian Church, 9401 Fieldstone Parkway, Toano, Virginia.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shea Garlock Memorial Scholarship through Stone House Presbyterian Church.
