Ruth Ennis, a resident of Williamsburg, Virginia, since 1966 died July 10, 2014. Ruth was 87 years old. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Arch Ennis. She was active in St. Stephen Lutheran Church for many years and retired as the Director of St. Stephen Nursery School.
She is survived by her daughters Martha (Paul) Reier of Toano, VA, Verna (Bob) Raines of Weldon Spring, MO, Susan (Gary) Littlepage of Claremont, NH, and Virginia (Steven) Dressler of Lanexa, VA; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The family expresses gratitude to the staff of Spring House and Berkeley at Patriots Colony for taking such wonderful care of Ruth in the last years of her life.
A family graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Stephen Nursery School, 612 Jamestown Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23185.
