Williamsburg, VA- Ruth E. Schultz left us on September 29th, 2018.
Ruth cherished the time she spent through the years with her friends and family and asked we remember her through those experiences rather her many and varied accomplishments. Her request will leave us reflecting on the time spent with her; our hands in the dirt, feet in the snow, faces turned towards the sun, saltwater splashing about, a cold beverage in hand, wind whistling in our ears and smiles in our hearts.
Ruth is survived by her brother, Robert Schultz, his wife Joyce, their children and grandchildren, as well as her cousin Barbara Buzako, her husband Richard and their family.
A celebration of life will be held at The Williamsburg Community Chapel on October 10th, 2018 at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Hospice House of Williamsburg (williamsburghospice.org).

    Dear Ruth, We have known you for more than 55 years. We sang in St. John's Girls Choir together, worked with the Brownies, you were a hostess at my wedding and a dear friend all those years. We enjoyed many visits to your Williamsburg house and helped me bring history alive to my 4th graders for many years. My children called you Aunt Ruthie because you were my Rainbow sister. I will miss our frequent phone conversations and sharing advice as to how to run the Conservancy. Jim (my husband) will miss the long conversations with you and we will both miss you very much. God speed on your journey home. May the way be lighted with prayers and candles.
