To the family: So sorry for your loss. I taught with Ron at LHS for 20 years and always enjoyed our copy room conversations. Ron was soft-spoken, so I’d always lean in to hear what he had to say because whatever it was, it was funny, insightful or clever. Ron was a good guy. I’m so sorry to hear of his passing. May you be blessed with great memories of this great guy!

Mr. Steffey was never my teacher but he was be loved by my family. He was my sister Julie‘s teacher. We all loved him and his unusual approach to life and teaching. He taught in a way that really got through to every kid. And he seem to have a real love for the students and what he was teaching. We knew him as his name was spelled backwards Noryeffets. He will never be forgotten in the hearts of many people who knew him in the Staunton area.
