Phyllis M Triplett

Phyllis Marie Triplett, 67, of Barhamsville, VA passed away peacefully on September 6th, 2018 at Consulate Nursing Facility in Williamsburg, VA. She was born in Lenoir, NC on December 20th, 1950.
She is preceded in death by her parents, T.R. and Margaret Triplett and her nephew, Stephen Loughrey.
Phyllis is survived by her two sisters, Elizabeth Lenoir (Andrew) of Norfolk and Charlotte Pope of Barhamsville; nephews, Andrew “Skip” Lenoir (Chris), Michael Triplett and Joseph Triplett (Stefi); niece, Nadine Johnston (John); and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Phyllis graduated from New Kent High School and was Valedictorian of her class. She worked for Woolco of Williamsburg and was the manager of the Red Grill for several years. She then worked for New Kent County for 18 years as a secretary until she retired on disability. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi International Ladies Sorority.
We will all miss her loving heart, her quick-witted humor, her sweet smile and infectious laugh. We will especially miss her peanut butter balls, buttery pancakes and her lemon cheesecake.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 6th at 5:00pm at Christ Community Church, 9001 Richmond Rd W. Toano, VA 23168. In lieu of flowers the family requests monetary gifts be made to Christ Community Church Building Fund. God Bless one and all.
