Petra Erika Nadal, a native of Canada, age 64, died peacefully at her home May 8, 2017, with family by her side.  She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Fink. Survivors include her husband, Oscar Nadal, 2 Sons: Benjamin Nadal and Nikolas Nadal, (daughter in law Jessica Rivera) Mother:  Gertrud V. Fink; Sister:  Claudia P. Holcomb (Allen).  A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 13, 2017, 2:00 p.m. at Wellspring United Methodist Church, 4871 Long Hill Road, Williamsburg, VA 23188. Should friends desire, memorial contributions, where she got her beloved dog Roxy, may be made Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society, Post Office Box 385, Gloucester, VA 23061 or a charity of choice.

    We are all shocked and saddened by the passing of our dear friend Petra. We offer our condolences and deepest sympathies to Oscar and the rest of the Nadal family. Petra was passionate about her community and cared deeply about people - especially children, and, of course, animals. She was a bright light in a world that is too often dark and cynical.
