Pennie Louise Crow, 62 of Williamsburg passed away at home surrounded by her family on July 19, 2012. She was born in Covington, VA on September 5, 1949. Pennie graduated from James Blair High School.

Pennie worked at Crow’s Garage before becoming a full time homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Ward B. Ratcliffe, mother Catherine Ratcliffe Burcham, a brother William Ratcliffe and sisters Brenda Tuck and Sandra Clausen.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, James G. Crow, daughter’s Lori Crow, Wendy Crow, Jennifer Gardner (Joseph), Melinda Hazelwood (James), Kimberly Crow and Katherine Crow; as well as six grandchildren, Brittney, Brandon, Taylor, Emileigh, Nathaniel, Landan and one great grandchild Emmanuel. She is also survived by her brothers Ward (Norma), Edward (Rose), Robert (Linda), Larry (Shirley) and one sister Beverly Smith (Greg), as well as several neices and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Sunday July 22, 2012 at the Bucktrout Funeral Home Chapel at 4:00PM. Memorial contributions may be made to The Children’s Hospital of the Kings Daughters. Online condolences may be registered at or
