Patrick Brandon Young, 24, of Williamsburg, passed away on Wednesday. August 3, 2016. He is preceded in death by his father, Sean Young. Patrick is survived by his mother, LouWanda Young; brother, Shane Young; grandmothers, Rachel Henson and Sue Magowan; grandfather, Paul Smith; uncle, Stuart Young; and numerous aunts and cousins. A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 7, 2016 at 2pm at Bucktrout Funeral Home, 4124 Ironbound Rd. Williamsburg, VA 23188.

    My memory is one night Patrick was watching me and my siblings and we ordered pizza. We decided to prank the pizza guy! First Bryson ran up to Patrick when he was talking to the guy, and he told me to send Bryson to his cage! We ran to the cage and I shut it so it sounded like he was put in there, all the while Breanna was sitting on the couch fake crying! Rest in Peace Bro.

    I was Patrick's classmate K-12- he was the sweetest, kind-hearted guy. It breaks my heart that he is gone. I will always remember when he cut my hair in the middle of class in first grade to get my attention to show he liked me. It is my first memory of figuring out what flirting was- I'll hold that memory close for the rest of my life. Patrick brightened up the room when he walked in, and always made me smile. Sending so much love and prayers to the Young family through this difficult time!
