Williamsburg ñ Michael W. Sarbinowski, 86, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 23, 2014. Michael retired from Pan American after 40 years of service as an aircraft mechanic. He fought in the Korean War while proudly serving his country in the U.S. Army.
Michael was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 43 years, Florence. He is survived by his son Joseph Sarbinowski and his wife Amy, his daughter Anne Howard and her husband John, as well as his five grandchildren Emma, George, Jack, William, and James.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Olaf Catholic Church, on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 10:00 am with inurnment to follow at St. Bede Catholic Church Columbarium. Donations may be made in Michaelís memory to the Alzheimerís Association 213 Mclaws Circle Ste. 2b Williamsburg, VA 23188. The family would like to express a heartfelt thanks to the loving staff at Morningside Assisted Living.
