Michael Oliver “Ollie” Sacks of Williamsburg, Virginia and World War II Veteran of the US Navy, died June 24, 2016 surrounded by family at his home. He was 104 years old. Ollie was a native of Philadelphia PA, and the son of Henry and Fyetta Neubert Sacks. After the war, he worked as a salesman for Sears Roebuck and Company. He further honed his salesman skills and entered the field of Real Estate. He was one of Pennsylvania’s top realtors. He fulfilled his Real Estate career as a Broker. He was best known for his upbeat attitude, winning smile and always a song in his heart. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 75 years, Gertrude Hinderliter Sacks; daughter, Linda Schuttter and husband Dan, daughter, Carol Reen and husband Ken; son, Richard and wife Andrea, son, Charles and wife Penny; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren;  2 great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations in O11ie’s memory be directed to Colonial Manor,at 8679 Pocahontas Trail, Williamsburg, VA or Hospice Community Care at 1064 Loftus Blvd. Newport News, VA.
