Michael E. Jakubos, 73, of Williamsburg, passed away on February 24, 2022.

Michael served in the Air Force in the Vietnam War where he was a Military Corrosion Specialist . He went on to become a professional auto painter. He also worked for Pizza Hut and eventually Busch Gardens for many years.

One of his favorite hobbies was photographing weddings and taking photos for the local news, he would be found listening to his scanners waiting for the next big story. He was an active member of the William & Mary theatre. He enjoyed any and all festivals, music, fishing, hunting, traveling, but most of all he loved spending time with family.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Edward & Rosemary Jakubos; and brother, Edward J. Jakubos. He is survived by his wife, Betty Jo Jakubos; son, David M. Jakubos; daughters, Melissa (Shawn) Wall and Angela G. Jakubos; and grandchildren, Miriah Jakubos, Selicia Wall, Alyssa Jakubos, Joseph Wall, and Sophia Wall.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 9AM to 12PM with service to follow at Bucktrout Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Williamsburg Memorial Park.
