Martha Swart Gregg

Martha Swart Gregg of Williamsburg, VA passed away on June 18, 2014. Martha was born on September 25, 1924 in Wheeling, West Virginia. Martha graduated from Mount De Chantel Academy and received her college degree from Wilson College in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

After college, she married Warren Gregg and was happily married for almost 68 years. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed hosting dinner parties. She was an active member in the Presbyterian church in which she served as a circle chairman and a moderator of Presbyterian women.

Martha was a loving and giving follower of Christ. She lived out a life of Christian faith and values. She always lit up the room with her smile and joy filled heart.

Martha is survived by her husband, Warren Gregg; her children, Bob Gregg and his wife Donna, Elizabeth Hurst and her husband Larry, and John Gregg and his wife Dominique; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.

The family wishes to express their appreciation and special thanks to the staff at Woodhaven at Williamsburg Landing for their support and care-giving.

A service to celebrate the life of Martha Gregg will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 27, 2014 at Bucktrout of Williamsburg, 4124 Ironbound Road, Williamsburg, VA .
