Marisa Joan Newsome, 56, passed away on Monday, December 21^St in Williamsburg, Virginia. She was born in Virginia to the late Lawrence and Veronica Reed.

Marisa’s love was her family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Kenzell; son, Charles Newsome; daughters, Charlene, Kimberly and Andrea Newsome; siblings, Jimmy, Roy, Patrick, Robert, Gary and Dennis and grandchildren, Lavonte, Davarion and Shaniyla Richeson and Marisa, Stephanie, Mylia, Jakaila, Paisley and Jonas Newsome.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday December 29^th from 10 am until noon at Bucktrout Funeral Home with a service starting at noon. Burial will follow the service in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
