Lucy Theresa Szrama (Mikulski), beloved wife of the late Bernard L. Szrama died on Friday, June 17th, 2022.  She is the mother of Elaine T. Szrama Moore, (Steven); Peter A. Szrama, (Maryjane); James J. Szrama (Victoria Bermel); loving grandmother of Nicholas Moore, Jacob Szrama, Kira Ann Moore, Luke Szrama, John Moore and Alexandra Szrama.

Lucy was the daughter of the late John J. and Victoria Mikulski, sister of Dr. Florian Mikulski, (Ann) and the late Dr. John Eugene Mielcark Mikulski.

Lucy was active all her young life at St. John Gualbert Parish and for over 38 years at Our Lady Help of Christians Parish in Cheektowaga, NY and for over 20 years at St. Bede Catholic Church in Williamsburg, VA.  She is a life member of the Chopin’s Singing Society and the Cheektowaga Historical Society.  

Lucy was employed by the Erie County NY Health Department, she worked 10 years for a dental practice while raising her family and then was hired by Baxter Corporation as a Reimbursement Manager and Area Liaison Specialist and Partnership Manager for what become Caremark Homecare.  She was also the family liaison, where she kept in touch with distant family members throughout the years.  Lucy loved helping others, baking pies, reading, dancing, cutting grass, planting flowers, sewing, planning events, but most of all Lucy loved each and everyone of the six grandchildren, her wonderful husband Bernie, their three children and spouses.
