Kevin William Duggan, 54, of Williamsburg, VA, formerly of Pierre, SD, died on November 23, 2014 at home. He was born November 30, 1959. Kevin was preceded in death by his father, William Duggan. Survivors include his mother, Jean Duggan, of Muscatine, IA; wife, Patricia Duggan, of Williamsburg; children Heather, Brandy, and Ethan, and grandchildren Layla and Liam, all of Sioux Falls, SD; stepchildren Renae, Tino , and Gabriel and their families; and brothers Alan, of Waleska, GA and Jeff, of Charlotte, NC. Kevin was employed by Eastern State Hospital in Williamsburg.

Born in Muscatine, IA, he developed a lifelong love of the outdoors. In addition to hunting and fishing, Kevin loved long motorcycle trips with his wife, Pat. His caring, compassionate manner was evident any time he was near his beloved grandchildren or his loyal beagles Bo and Buddy. Kevinís infectious laugh and passion for life will forever be remembered by those who knew and loved him.

A memorial service celebrating Kevinís life will be held in Sioux Falls, SD on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 3 PM, with visitation beginning at 1 PM, at George Boom Funeral Home, 3408 East 10th St., Sioux Falls, SD. A memorial celebration will be held in Williamsburg at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Kevinís name to the American Heart Association.

    Kevin was an absolute wonderful person and we will miss him dearly. We shared our grandson Liam with him. I met Kevin at the time of Liam birth and knew right away what a wonderful caring man he was. May Kevin rest in peace now and may Pat and the kids receive peace in their hearts.
