Keith Mason

Gifts & Memorial Donations

On Thusday, September 28, 2023, S. Keith Mason, of Lanexa, VA passed away. Beloved husband of Monica I. Ellis; father of Heather Marie Mason, grandfather of Carter Mason Smith. Also survived by his sisters, Glenda Covington (Bernard), Hannah Mason, Diane Dale (Terry) and brother, Morris Mason (June) ; stepfather to Hunter, Peter, and Karissa Ellis.

Keith, the “rabbit man”, had many long time friendships. He gave often and helped selflessly to all he cared for. His absence weighs heavy on the hearts left behind.

Keith was a master woodworker. He often used his skill to gift others with lifelong treasures. When he wasn’t in his workshop, you could find him hunting, fishing, or treasure hunting with his wife & their furry kids.

Keith always had “a word to the wise” to express everything in life (a Keith-ism). We ask that you remember his life’s philosophy and be ready to write it down at the service. His wisdom was unique, but normally hit the nail on the head.

Please join us while we celebrate Keith’s life after the service from 5pm-6pm.

I have known Keith for many years. Not only did we graduate from Lafayette High School in 74, my mom Thelma Pressey was a domestic worker for the family. Sending prayers of comfort and strength 💪 for his entire family.
