Gifts & Memorial Donations

Kei Takeshi Lamberson, 27, of Arlington VA, passed away on January 24th, surrounded by his family.  Kei lived life to the fullest, filling every moment with laughter and love.  He went the extra mile in everything he did, creating precious long-lasting friendships everywhere he went, from his childhood in Yorktown, through his college years at Virginia Tech, and most recently to his new career in the DC area.  He is survived by his father Paul, his mother Hiromi, his brother and best friend Tomoya, his grandmother, aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of who adored him.  The family wishes to give special thanks to the caring staff in the Virginia Hospital Center ICU.  A Celebration of Kei’s Life will be held on March 3, 2018 from 1:00 – 5:00 PM at the College of Williams & Mary–Alumni House. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kei Takeshi Lamberson Memorial Fund at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (http://giftfunds.stjude.org/Kei).

    Kohl Hurdle says:
Kei was one of the best men I've ever had the pleasure of knowing and growing up with. He had a profound effect on everyone he knew and people strived to be more like him: energetic, intelligent, well-spoken, witty, and on and on. Everyone who knew him is devastated by this loss but your friends from Typhoons and CGBD will never forget how much more enjoyable practices, swim meets, and growing up was with him by our side.
