Katie (Kitty) Lee Nettles Biggs, born May 2, 1924, in Florida passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014.

Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother Kitty fulfilled her wishes to see the world. She was known for elegant and gourmet cooking, and master bridge playing. She never forgot where she grew up and loved her family in Florida and always gave much love and support to her children. Kitty spent her last years among wonderful friends.

Preceding her in death was her husband of 49 years Richard Chester Biggs, a son, Timothy C. Biggs, brothers; Seth Nettles, William Nettles, and James Nettles, sisters; Edna Hall, Ruth Moody, and Janey Nettles..

Survivors include her son Richard Kirby Biggs and daughter Deborah Biggs Grandchildren; Jeffrey (Valerie) Dockman, Micheal (Amy) Dockman, Richard Valentine Biggs, Morgan Biggs and brothers and sisters, Rodney Nettles (Maryann), Henrietta Kirkland (Joe), Libby Green, May Edwards (Jim), and John J. Nettles (Debbie)
