Karen June Menke

Karen June Menke, born on March 18, 1935, peacefully passed away on July 12, 2023, in Williamsburg, Virginia. Karen was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, who dedicated herself to her family and her work. She was 88 years old at the time of her departure.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Karen embarked on a remarkable journey filled with love and devotion. Throughout her life, she worked diligently as a planner and scheduler at Anheuser-Busch Companies INC. Her commitment to her profession was unwavering, and she approached each task with precision and grace.

Beyond her career, Karen found solace in her favorite pastime – fishing. Nature’s tranquility and the thrill of casting a line brought her immense joy. She cherished these moments of solitude, where she could immerse herself in the wonders of the great outdoors.

Karen is preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank Martin Menke, and her dear parents, Eugene and Mary Bock. She will be deeply missed by her son, Jack M. Menke, and her daughters, Kimberly M. Early and Shari A. Menke. Karen’s legacy lives on through her grandchildren, William Blake Early, Joey A. Trinidad, and Marissa Deaver, who will forever treasure the memories they shared together.

In accordance with Karen’s wishes, services to celebrate her life and honor her memory were private. As we mourn her loss, let us remember Karen for her unwavering love, kind spirit, and dedication to those she held dear.
