Granddaddy Brown filled our hearts with so much joy and love. I have fond memories as a child of running around in the yard with the soccer ball in New York and Granddaddy always had a smile on his face. Their house was filled with the coolest trinkets too. I am so thankful Camden was able to meet her Great Granddaddy and that his spirit will live on in her. I always looked forward to our FaceTime calls, and Granddaddy would ask John where he was traveling to next for his work with Operation Smile. I am also so glad he was able to visit the warehouse at Operation Smile, and I remember his face beaming with excitement when he met my team members and found out they were military veterans as well. We love you to the moon Granddaddy!

My heart is full of fond memories of Dad Brown/Granddaddy Brown/Jack. He always had an encouraging word, a contagious laugh, a great sense of humor too. He loved his family, so proud of each and everyone. A man of great intellect and wisdom, yet he was so humble. What an honor and blessing to have known such a wonderful person.

Rest in paradise granddaddy Jack-Jack. 99 years is a long time, but nine hundred and ninety nine still wouldn’t be enough time with you. Thank you for being a hero to this country, this family, and THE BIGGEST hero to me. I’m so blessed to be your granddaughter, and so proud to have your blood in my veins. I love you always and forever ❤️
