John Henry Haislip

John Henry “Johnny” Haislip of Williamsburg, Virginia passed away at 62 years old on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 with his family by his side.

Johnny was born and raised in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. After many years of being a North Carolina resident, he and his wife moved to Virginia, where he worked as a building maintenance supervisor with James City County for over 15 years.

Johnny enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, and hanging out with his dogs while tinkering in his garage at home.

Johnny is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Virginia Haislip, and his brothers Buck and Pete Haislip. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kathryn Britt Haislip, his children, Christy, Brandon, and Brianna Haislip (Calum Welch), his sister, Judy Britton, his sister-in-law, Andy Britt, and his grandchildren Christopher and Landen Scott, and Brandon, Jonathan, Olivia, and Makayla Haislip.

The family will host a short visitation on Saturday, July 6, from 1-3pm at the Britt family home in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina.
