    Scott Alexander says:
John was the first friend I made when we moved to Poquoson many years ago. We had many good days out on the waters fishing, sailing, and just boating around the creeks and rivers. He was a good mate and I'll miss him. Fair Winds and Following Seas old friend.

    Billy Saulman says:
John was the first friend I made when my family moved in next door to his family. I remember days spent fishing on the Poquoson River, and running a set of crab pits one summer as a business venture to make money. John got me a job at National Exterminating, which I still have to this day. I was shocked and saddened to learn of his passing. He will be greatly missed.
