Jessica Christin Wood

Jessica Christin Wood, 35, passed away on October 31, 2023. She was born on July 24, 1988, to the late Jay R. Wood and Anette Wood in Baltimore, Maryland. Following the death of her father when she was a young girl, she was adopted and raised by her grandparents, James R. Wood and Nancy P. Wood. At the time of her death, Jessica had lived in Williamsburg for more than twenty years.

Jessica was predeceased by her father, Jay R. Wood and her grandmother Nancy P. Wood. She is survived by her children, Lily Anne Borden, Laurel Jay Borden, Lacey Rose Jordan, Lawson Andrew Jordan; grandfather and adoptive father, James R. Wood; uncle, James C. Wood and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jessica was a graduate of Lafayette High School and attended Old Dominion University. She was also a Licensed Practical Nurse.

A Memorial Service for Jessica will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Bucktrout Funeral Home.
