Gifts & Memorial Donations

Janie Crocker, 82, of Suffolk, Virginia passed away Monday, March, 18, 2019 at Hospice House & Support Care of Williamsburg. She was surrounded by her devoted family and grand-dog. Mrs. Crocker was a strong Christian woman who loved her Lord Jesus Christ. She served him, her family, church and community faithfully. Mrs. Crocker graduated from Louise Obici School of Nursing in 1958. She loved being outside in the sunshine and working for hours in her flower beds.

Mrs. Crocker was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Lewis Andrew Crocker.

Left to cherish her memory include her children, Alan Troy Crocker (Heidi) and Kip Lang Crocker (Dena); grandchildren, Travis Mitchel Crocker of Lexington, South Carolina and Cody Alan Crocker (Amanda) of Wilmington, North Carolina and her four brothers, Glen, Kenneth, Carlton and Melvin Jordan.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the Companions and Nurses at the Hospice House. You worked diligently as a team to ensure that we were able to be the children and not the caregivers. You made a difficult time so much more comforting.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 2 -5pm at Bucktrout Funeral Home.  Dale Robertson will hold a prayer service at 3pm. We ask that everyone wear something red to honor her memory as it was her favorite color. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice House and Support Care of Williamsburg. 4445 Powhatan Parkway Williamsburg VA 23188 or Hillcrest Baptist Church 1637 Holland Road Suffolk VA 23434.
