Janet Elizabeth Burchell

Janet Elizabeth Burchell,71, of Toano, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Edward Matish, Sr. and Susannah Matish. Janet is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Burchell; her granddaughters, Callie and Lindsay Bryant; her sister, Carolyn Friedhaber (Gary); and three brothers, John Matish, of Chesapeake (Virginia), Edward Matish, of Williamsburg, Steven Matish, of Lanexa; and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her sister, Leanne Thompson, of Williamsburg.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022, 10:00 a.m. at St. Olaf Catholic Church in Norge, Virginia.
