    Val Chisholm says:
Jim, In 1973 when I needed all the help I could get learning how to run a manual kiln, what paints to use, what brushes to use, how to clean green ware-- in other words everything-- your Mom and Dad spent countless hours tutoring me. They were just wonderful I have such fond memories I think of them every time I pass where the shop once stood. My deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother.
