Howard Butler, 82, passed away peacefully at home Monday, May 5, 2014. Howard was born in Charleston, West Virginia, and served in the Marine Reserves. He became a Williamsburg resident 32 years ago and retired after over 40 years as an electrician at Owens Illinois.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Hilda Butler.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Charlene, two daughters; Sandra Halvorson and her husband Mike, Deborah Richardson and her husband Gary. Also left to cherish his memory are his 3 beloved grandchildren; Thomas and Sarah Richardson, and Kaleigh Halvorson, two sisters; Mary Dodd, and Ethel Rooper, and a host of loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday, May 8, 2014 from 6-8 pm at Bucktrout Funeral Home with a memorial service to be conducted 11:00 am Friday, May 9, 2014 at Bucktrout Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity.
