Harry Harabedian, 83, passed away on May 24, 2012. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. After a long battle with cancer, he passed away at his home with his family by his side.

Harry was born on January 16, 1929 in Erie, Pennsylvania. He attended Cathedral Prep and continued his education at Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania. He graduated in 1957 with an electrical engineering degree after serving in the Korean War. After a long career at Western Electric/Lucent Technology, Harry retired with his wife to Williamsburg, Virginia.

Harry was a member of Fordís Colony Menís Golf Association for twenty years. His favorite singer was Frankie Laine and he loved big band music. He enjoyed many years of family, golf, bowling, and dancing. We know heís dancing on a better dance floor in Heaven right now.

Harry is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patricia, their four children Dayle Brittain (Jim), Mark Harabedian (Susan), Leigh Ann Kling (Jim), James Harabedian (Terri), and ten grandchildren, Patricia, Leighann, Brian, Laura, Julie, Brad, James, Tanner, James Doran, and Jeanne. He is also survived by his brother, John Harabedian (Connie), his sisters Sarah Miller (Don), and Pauline Harabedian, and a host of other beloved nieces, nephews, and friends. Harry is preceded in death by his sister, Alice Malecki.

A memorial service celebrating Harryís life will be held at The Stone House Presbyterian Church, 901 Fieldstone Parkway, (located in the Stonehouse subdivision), Toano, VA 23168. Service is June 1; visitation @1pm, service @2pm with reception following.
