George Braczyk, lovingly nicknamed “UG”, passed away on May 1st, 2023 at the age of 80 in Williamsburg, VA. He was born in Everett, MA to Julius and Evelyn Braczyk, who have preceded him in death.

George had an Associates Degree in Management from Burdett College. He continued his education at Northeastern University. George was a Purchasing Agent for a Medical Office and also served in the National Guard. After retirement, he volunteered at Colonial Williamsburg.

George had a passion for wood carving, making kinetic wooden toys, maritime history, and reading. Although George is no longer with us, he will be remembered for his kindness, warmth, and dedication to his family. He will be missed by his surviving family and friends including his sister, Carolyn Braczyk (Gerard Ruzzo) of Williamsburg, VA, his nephew Adam Labonte (Alice) of Uxbridge, MA, and his niece Amanda Labonte (Michael Gamache) of Philadelphia, PA.

A private ceremony will be held at a later date where George will be laid to rest at Forestvale Cemetery in Hudson, MA. In Lieu of flowers memorial contribution can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital (www.stjude.org/donate).

George, you have left us to continue on your journey. You are special to us, to me, as you were the one and only UG! We may not be able to see you or hear you, but we know you are not far away, you are only a breath away. You will always be part of our lives and in our prayers. Love you always…
