Genevieve C. Merton, 85, of Williamsburg, passed away on July 31, 2018.
Genevieve was a loving mother and wife, who enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her sons, Keith A. and Clifford D. Maxwell. She is survived by her husband, William R. Merton; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Brewer; sisters, Ercia Garland Saville, Myrna Palmer, and Marietta and husband Lorraine Lipscomb; step daughter, Joanne and husband Tom Swiger; granddaughter Nicole Maxwell; and great granddaughters Haley and Delia Maxwell. .
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 4, 2018, from 2pm – 4pm, at Bucktrout Funeral Home, 4124 Ironbound Road, Williamsburg VA, 23188.
