Gene Autry Kernstine, 73, died July 11, 2012. He was born in Greensboro, N.C. on November 11,1938. Heí is preceded in death by his parents Barney Mitchell and Anna Belle Kernstine.

Survived by his two sons: Jeffery and wife Melissa of Winston Salem, NC, Barney Mitchell and his wife Julie of Dacula, Georgia, and 4 grandchildren

Three brothers: Wiley Howard and wife Colleen of Fayetteville, N.C.; Bobby Harold and wife Karen of Lexington, NC; Van Arthur and wife Annette of Warsaw, NC. One sister Francine Koschel of Williamsburg, Virginia.

A graveside service will be held Monday, July 16, 2012 at 2:00PM at Leeís Chapel United Methodist Church, Greensboro, NC.
