Garnett L. Sumner, 92, of James City County, VA passed away on Wednesday, January 09, 2013. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wayne Sumner; daughter, Janet Jacobs and son, Loren Sumner.

Garnett is survived by her son, Michael J. Sumner, Sr.; sister, Margaret Thronson; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Services will be private.
