Frank Clarke McCormac, age 96, died August 7, 2016. Mr. McCormac was a graduate of Pittsburg University. In 1939 he joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and flew fighter pilots in the Battle of Britain and 1942 transferred to Army Air Corp as a bomber pilot and flew B-26 Marauder. In addition to squadron leader he was the recipient of numerous awards, including 3 purple hearts, 4 bronze cluster stars, distinguish flying cross, British distinguish flying cross, French bel quadrier . Frank spent his remaining years in the cemetery business. He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace. Services will be held in Georgia.
