Eric Virgil Richardson Sr. 57, entered into eternal peace on Wednesday June 19, 2013 at his home in Williamsburg, VA.

Eric was born on Oct. 29, 1955, the son of Robert Richardson and the late Mary Richardson. He had many loves including his family, friends, his beloved dogs, racing and his job as long haul bull truck driver.

He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his brothers, Robert (Robbie) Richardson and Rodney Richardson, & his sister, Kelly Deskins and husband, Greg. He is also survived by his children, Dolores Richardson, Eric Richardson Jr. and wife, Michelle, David Richardson, Melissa Trinidad, Jessica Minton and husband Matt, & Jeremy Richardson and wife Amy; nieces and nephews, Olivia Richardson, Nick Richardson and Cowles Deskins; grandchildren, Heidi Richardson, John Richardson, Sydney Baker, Harley Richardson, Lyric Richardson, Brett Richardson, Eric Kane Richardson,, Jasmine Trinidad, Gavin Richardson, Haley Trinidad, Caleb Blakenship, Collin Trinidad & Gracie Richardson, and his great- grandchildren, Anthony Richardson, Bryanna Richardson, John Austin Richardson and Andrew

Eric had many aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends that were like family to him, his loving and caring attitude made everyone like him but more importantly made it very easy to love him.

He also leaves behind his beloved dog Gracie.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 ñ 11:00 am on Saturday June 22, 2013 at James River Baptist Church, with the service beginning at 11:00; burial will follow in Williamsburg Memorial Park.

    Eric was a great man, he opened up his arms and heart to us, we will always remeber the first time we met him out in Nebraska. We washing out them cattle wagons and then we went over to Sidney,ne and had steak,and that began our lifetime friendship,im so glad that you came into our lives and so sad you had to go to soon, but we will cherish and hold onto every moment and conversation we had with u, u sure had the stories to tell us..You will be so missed by us we will love you forever, love Billy and Kelly, your over the road bullhaulin buddies....
