Emojene Wallace Ballard

Emojene Wallace Ballard, wife of Bobby L. Ballard, a native of Itawamba County Mississippi, passed away on May 3, 2017.  She was the daughter of the late Jeannie F. and Lillie Spradling Wallace.  Since moving to Williamsburg in 1986, she has attended Williamsburg Community Chapel.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Loyce Wallace, sisters, Lula Priddy, Evelyn Hood, Fay Nell Miller, Myra Giancaspro, and Julia Lewis.  Survivors include her husband of 70  years, Bobby; 2 daughters, Rebecca Cumming and husband, Will of Onancock, VA and Sandra Ballard and husband Ron DeChristoforo of Williamsburg, VA; 2 grandchildren, Stephen Cumming, (Evangeline) and Emily Johnson (Shane) of Syracuse, NY; 2 sisters, Margaret Williams and Jo Ann Mencer and husband George and 2 great grandchildren, Morgan and Abigail.  Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in Peninsula Memorial Park, Newport News, conducted by the Reverend Milt Hines.  Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice House & Support Care of Williamsburg, 4445 Powhatan Parkway, Williamsburg, VA 23188.  Arrangements by Bucktrout Funeral Home and Crematory of Williamsburg.
