RICHARDSON, Ellen Minor, 88, a lifelong resident of James City County, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 10, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband, James H. Richardson; parents, George and Ellen Minor; sisters, Virginia Ridenour and Grace Alford; brothers, Franklin Minor and Hugh Minor.  Ellen is survived by her children, Beatrice Gass (Ric) of Katy, TX, Hunter Richardson (Elizabeth) of Fairfax, VA, John Richardson (Betty) of Chester, VA, Rick Richardson  (Temple) of Chesterfield, VA, and Gale Pullen (Jeff) of New City, NY; sister, Anne Price (Harvey) of Williamsburg, VA,; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Ellen was a devoted Christian and active member of James River Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and watching baseball. However, her passion in life was her love for her husband, her children, her grandchildren and being “Gigi” to her great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00pm on Monday, Sept 14 at James River Baptist Church, 4931 Centerville Rd, Williamsburg, Va. A funeral service in the sanctuary will follow at 2pm with  interment in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Multi Ministry Building Fund at James River Baptist Church.
