    Jeanne Garrison says:
Liz was one of the first people I met when I joined the Wiliamsburg chapter of NARFE. She was a dedicated member who had served the chapter in several positions over the years. That meeting led to a lasting friendship with her mentoring me to become more involved in NARFE activities. She was a great friend. For the family, may many happy memories help you through your grief.

To the family of Liz. I most likely wouldn't have learned about the passing of Liz except for her obit in the Virginia Gazette. I grew up in Williamsburg but have lived in Philadelphia for over 50 years. I remember Liz having worked with her at Independence NHP and what a great colleague she was. I retired from INDE after 50 years as a NPS Curator. But most important, may Liz Rest In Peace and God be with her family.

    Larry Foster says:
Liz Snyder was a true Lady of Virginia always overflowing with grace, upbeat, thoughtful, kind and caring. We worked together when Liz was a team member of the United Way of Virginia and me as a volunteer. I never left Liz’s presence that I didn’t feel better about the world. I also got to know Roy during this time. What a wonderful couple. My very best to Roy as he faces these challenging times.
