On March 18, 2024, Elizabeth Bromley Hunt passed away at the age of 77.

Beth was born on October 9th, 1946, the daughter of Edmund Bromley and Helen Hubbard Bromley. She grew up in Camp Springs, Maryland and attended William and Mary.

While in Williamsburg she married and gave birth to the first of two sons, Reed Hunt of Williamsburg, Va. and later her son, Brandon Hunt was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Initially a homemaker, Beth transitioned into the professional world working primarily in the textile industry.  While raising her sons she rose through the executive ranks and earned her MBA from the University of North Carolina Greensboro. Her professional career led her to Denver, Colorado before returning to the east coast to be closer to family.  Upon retirement Beth moved to Asheville, North Carolina and became an active participant in the Beaverdam Run community as well as an ardent supporter of UNC Asheville athletics.  During this time, she and her companion Mike Grillot enjoyed supporting UNC Asheville athletics and travel. Her last years were spent in memory care at Windors Meade where the staff did a wonderful job caring for her   Beth had a wide variety of interests and passions.  She enjoyed playing the piano, snow skiing, travel, flyfishing, writing and storytelling, and spending time with family.

Beth is survived by sons, Reed of Williamsburg, Virginia and Brandon of Durham, North Carolina; Sisters, Martha Grimm of Fleetwood, Pennsylvania and Barbara Bromley of Kingston, Washington; and brother, Mike Bromley of Fredericksburg, Virginia. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Ashlynn, Reagan, and Jillian.  Beth was proceeded in death by her parents Ed and Helen Bromley.
