Eleanor Armstrong died on Thursday June 26, 2014 at the age of 22.
The exact cause of death is unknown as of yet, but it seems she may have died as a result of a seizure in her sleep.
Eleanor was born in Berkeley, California and moved to Williamsburg as a toddler. She attended Waller Mill Elementary, Toano Middle and Lafayette High School. After attending Old Dominion University for 2 years, Eleanor was working towards becoming a Registered Nurse.
Ellie will be remembered for her smile and her amazing ability to connect with people. She loved the outdoors, animals, music, movies and current affairs.
She is survived by her parents, David and Marlene Armstrong, her sister Heather, her loving grandparents, Richard & Diane Armstrong, Elna Lewis, and Hermine Schober as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She is predeceased by her mother, Megan Lewis, her grandmother Joanne Armstrong and her grandfather Robert Lewis.
A memorial service will be held at Bucktrout of Williamsburg, on Wednesday July 2 at 7 p.m. with a viewing preceding. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the Heritage Humane Society of Williamsburg or the American Epilepsy Society.
