    Sarah Mullins Carter says:
I first met Edward when I first moved to Newport News in 1994. I remember his sparkling blue eyes and his smile. He won my heart that day. He attended my first open house when I was a brand new Realtor. In fact he purchased a home thru me and was my very first sale. We actually dated on and off for several years. Unfortunately our personalities did not work out for us to be together long term. He and my oldest grandson shared many happy times together. I loved his mother and his sister. We stayed friends until Mrs Edna passed. I am still very good friends with his sister Brenda. I pray for peace and comfort for her through this very difficult time. I also pray for Mark that he will find peace and comfort thru all his memories of his dad.
