Eddie Ray Arrington

Eddie Ray Arrington, 66, of Williamsburg, died Friday, September 30, 2016. Mr. Arrington retired from Eastern State Hospital, where he had worked for 31 years in the Buildings and Grounds Department. Born in Richlands, he had been a Williamsburg resident for 60 years. Mr. Arrington was preceded in death by his parents, Delmas and Mae Arrington, and one son, James Edward Arrington. He is survived by one brother, Joe D. Arrington (Linda); two sons, Eddie Ray Arrington, Jr. and Brian Arrington (Natalie Gay); one daughter, Kimmie Berry; five grandchildren; nieces, Crystal L. Arrington (Bryan Housel), Lisa Arrington, Kelly Vance and a special companion, his dog, Shannon. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 11:00 AM in Cedar Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from  5:00 to 6:30 PM at Bucktrout Funeral Home in Williamsburg. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Liver Institute of Virginia. Online condolences may be shared at bucktroutfuneralhome.net.
