Dorothy Rupert Stevick, age 97, died October 3, 2016 at Spring Arbor of Williamsburg.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Curtis Stevick, son, Robert S. Stevick, II and a brother, Roy M. Rupert,  Jr. ; and sister, Betty Turner.  Mrs. Stevick was a secretary for the development of Kingsmill through Anheisur-Busch during the early 1980’s as well as secretary for the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation.  Survivors include her daughter, Susan Stevick and her husband Dr. Kenneth L. Webb of Richmond and her sister, Barbara R. Fabian.  Services will be privately held in Mckeesport, Pennsylvania.  Should friends desire, contributions may be made to:  Olde Towne Medical Center, 5249 Olde Towne Road, Williamsburg, VA 23188.  Arrangements by Bucktrout Funeral and Crematory of Williamsburg.     Our son, Ian, worked doing odd jobs and yard work for Mrs. Stevick. He liked her very much and knew that she liked him. He said he felt a bit like a surrogate grandson to her, coming over whenever she needed little things done, like replacing light bulbs or clearing away a bird's nest. Our family is grieved to know that she is gone, but but feels blessed to have known her. She was kind and thoughtful to our Ian and we always appreciated that. Our prayers are with her family.

    Our son Ian worked for Mrs. Stevick. She was a dear lady that our whole family enjoyed knowing. We are very sorry to hear of her death. We will miss her. Her family will be in our prayers.
