Deanna “Sue” Thompson

Sue Thompson passed away surrounded by the ones she loved. She was born in Kentucky, married the love of her life Moye Thompson and eventually made her home in Toano, VA. She worked for years in and around town at several convenience stores including Happy’s and a few 7/11’s. She loved people and never met a stranger. If you weren’t smiling when you came in, you were surely smiling or cracking up when you left her presence. She was a sweet and kindhearted soul who had a strong faith in Our Lord and Savior.

She was preceded in death by her Mother, Brother and Husband of 49 years. She is survived by her daughter Tara Marable, Son Greg Thompson(Susan) and daughter Tammy Davis(Bob). Also her 11 Grandchildren; Codey(Anna), Ashley, Erika(Ben), Colby(Lauren), Jamie(Robbie), Alyssa, Jesseca, Colton, Grayson, Ally(Bobby) and Emily; 7 Great Grandchildren with 1 on the way. Her family was her “Pride and Joy” and she bragged on them to everyone she met.

The family will be having a private Celebration of her Life at a later date. Donations in her memory can be made to the James City County Fire Department.
